PANEL PREPARATION:



TYPE A INSTALLATION SHOWN:







FOR TYPE B INSTALLATION:

1. Rotate housing and pawl sub-assembly 180° around axis of shaft.

2. Rotate handle, shaft sub-assembly and actuator sub-assembly 90° around axis of shaft.

If lock assembly is used, remove hex nut from lock and angle LOCK PAWL through the hole, then drop hex nut back over lock pawl. Slide lock pawl through slot in housing (bend lock pawl if necessary) and tighten hex nut.

Materials & Finish

HOUSING, ACTUATOR, PAWL, and PAWL FOOT: 1010 Steel, zinc plate, chromate plus sealer.

STUDS, NUTS and PAWL SCREW: Steel, zinc plate, chromate plus sealer.

LOCKWASHERS: Spring steel, zinc plate, chromate plus sealer. PIN: 303 Stainless steel, passivated.

LOCK HOUSING: Die-cast zinc, chrome plated or black powder coating (see part number listing).

LOCK PLUG: Diecast zinc and brass, chrome plated or black powder coating (see part number listing).

LOCK HOUSING NUT: Die-cast zinc, chemical protective film.

LOCK PAWL: 1010 Steel, zinc plate, chromate plus sealer.

LOCK PAWL SCREW: 303 Stainless steel, passivated.

HANDLE: Die-cast zinc, chrome plated or black powder coating (see part number listing).

SHAFT: Low carbon steel, chrome or nickel plated with black powder coating (see part number listing).
